Your church can join our faith family.

It is considered that a church is affiliated with the Convention if the church (1) identifies with, aligns with, and supports the purposes and work of the Convention, and (2) is eligible to send messengers to the annual meeting of the Convention. It is considered that a church cooperates with the Convention ("Cooperating Church") if the church: (1) participates in the various activities of the Convention and (2) provides regular and systematic financial support to the Convention. (Bylaws, Article I-Section 1)

Your church can be an "Affiliated Church" or a "Cooperating Church". Affiliated Churches receive all the benefits of affiliation, except for sending messengers to vote in the Annual Meeting. Cooperating Churches can send messengers and have candidates for officer, director, etc., positions.

 

TO BE AN AFFILIATED CHURCH

 

Churches wishing to affiliate with the Hispanic Baptist Convention of Texas can do so in the following way:

  • Review the Bylaws and Constitution.

  • Take official action to affiliate with the Convention.

  • Complete the Affiliation Statement and send it to:
